One of my favorite things is spinning records on the radio. I imagine people driving in their cars, switching between channels, and hearing my voice--- it's very powerful. This is a live DJ set I spun on Northeastern Illinois University WZRD Radio Station 88.3 FM with Jonathan Extract. I've known Jonathan since he was about 3 years old, and he was the manager of the station at the time.

I open the set by interviewing Thor Harris, the Austin, Texas-based percussionist who was touring with the infamous SWANS at the time. We met at Pitchfork a few weeks before, and it seemed like it would be fun to bring him on the airwaves, too.
